I purchased this product when my dog injured himself...at the time I did not know that he had torn his ACL. I began giving him the supplements anyway after his surgery, but then I found another supplement that is better for dogs that are recovering from orthopedic surgery and put him on that one. This product is a good basic supplement for dogs that do not have significant issues but need a little extra support. It is one of the few joint supplements with a proven history of positive effects.
