We've been struggling with cotton coat ever since my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was spay. We use the entire IOD product line including the copper coat formula (since she's a ruby), the heavy management conditioner and a leave-in conditioner as well. I'm not sure exactly how it works but it really does enhance her color without dying it (i.e., it doesn't stain hands or towels, etc.). Plus a little goes a long way so it's a fantastic value.
