#$ ProMeris for Small Dogs 11 22 Pounds 6 Doses USA Version EPA Registered

I went to the vet to purchase my usual flea and tick treatment and was told by the vet that this was a better product than FLPlus because fleas and ticks were becoming resistant to the ingredients in FLPlus. I thought, ok, the vet recommends this, so it must be a good product, plus it was cheaper so I said I'd take it. Upon opening the container, the odor was overwhelming. I applied the product according to directions and noticed a tick jump right off the dog. Wow! I am thinking this stuff is awesome. Well, the whole house smelled terribly from the odor and my children started complaining of the smell. A little later, and both of my kids are complaining of headaches. I opened the windows and doors to air out the house and put the dog outside as well. I purchased this product for my perfectly healthy Bichon Frise. About 5 hours later, and yes the house still smelled, my dog starts to throw up. I didn't connect his throwing up to the Promeris until he continued throwing up for 3 days. I called the vet and he basically shrugged it off and said it was just a coincidence. My dog had never thrown up like he did those 3 days and he hasn't since either. The vet said if I was so worried to just give the dog a bath, hello, I just paid for this stuff and now I'm supposed to wash it off? Well, I refused to believe that my dog was just throwing up out of the blue so I got on the internet and started researching the product. I stumbled upon quite a few others who had problems as well, some even more serious than what my dog experienced. So, just a heads up to those who want to try this, do your research first.
